Case Study: Highland Springs Senior Living Center

Location: Dallas, Texas
Role: Project Architect
Senior extended care facility accommodating skilled nursing residents all in private rooms based around a ‘household’ model. The integrated community building provides a salon, physical therapy, café, club room and administrative functions clustered around a sensory garden that is landscaped with native plant species, offering a safe environment for residents to enjoy the outdoors. Elevations were designed using local and residential vernacular.
